Wheat Status in Junagarh and Kurukshetra Districts

In this report, we at WeatherSys have gathered field information from ground level on wheat crop in Junagarh of Gujarat and Kurukshetra district of Haryana and present weather conditions prevailing in these districts.
In Junagarh district of Gujarat, wheat crop is almost 2 months old now and flowering has started in the crop. Irrigations duration varied from 4 to 6 depending upon different soil types. The crop is healthy and no incidence of the disease or pest has been reported as of now. Currently, the maximum temperature in the district is hovering around 30oC and minimum temperature is settling around 12oC. WeatherSys predicts no rainfall in the district during next seven days.
In Kurukshetra district of Haryana, wheat crop is in vegetative stage and its height is 1.5 feet.  Farmers have irrigated the crop at least two times.  Yellow color leaves has been reported in some places on specific varieties which might be yellow rust. Currently, the day temperature is ranging around 18oC and night temperature is around 4oC. During next seven days, no rainfall is expected in the district and weather is likely to remain cool and dry.
