The post-monsoon forecast for the year 2015-16 released by the Coffee Board placed total coffee production 3.5 lakh MT which consist 1.07 lakh MT of Arabica and 2.42 lakh MT of Robusta variety.  This estimate is slightly low to the post-blossom estimate for 2015-16 considering normal fruit drop at different fruit development stages. However, keeping in mind that this crop estimate was completed by 31st October and the crop has faced the incessant rainfall in second fortnight of November and early December and other stresses, the actual production might be lower than the estimate.
